Description
We live in a context in which extreme poverty and social exclusion continue to profoundly affect thousands of people, including women who experience homelessness and face particularly complex realities marked by multiple axes of discrimination and vulnerability. Homeless women have been invisible in statistics, public discourse and, all too often, in the design of social policies. This work does not seek to open anyone's eyes. People already have their eyes open, but they are looking elsewhere. Our intention is to draw attention, with clear words, raising our written voice, waving our hands and legs like shipwrecked people as ships pass by on the horizon, in the hope that you will see us.
