This volume includes papers and papers presented at the 2nd International Symposium on Noucentisme, held at the University of Girona in March 2017, which focused on Catalan Noucentisme in relation to the European cultural context.
Noucentisme has often been studied as an isolated phenomenon, as if it had developed outside the cultural history of Europe at the time.
