Description
This book is part of the work of the Chair of Health Promotion at the University of Girona, a unit with more than fifteen years of experience dedicated to study, training, research and dissemination in health promotion, in close collaboration with Dipsalut and with a clear commitment to networking and international outreach. The volume reflects a solid conceptual framework, aligned with the salutogenic perspective, the focus on the social determinants of health and lifelong health promotion, highlighting knowledge transfer as the central axis of academic and professional action.
The publication brings together the contributions presented at the Health Promotion Conference in the Girona Health Region, held in February 2025, and offers a set of programmes and communications that can be considered good practices in health promotion. Through diverse experiences, representative of the territory and the different levels of care, the book highlights the work carried out by centres, services and communities, and serves as a reference tool for teams and institutions committed to public health based on collaboration, shared knowledge and continuous improvement.
