Description
Conflict, violence, and insecurity are elements that society lived with in late antiquity and the Middle Ages, to the extent that many authors consider them to be defining features of feudal society. From late antiquity to the end of the Middle Ages (5th-15th centuries), the structure of the territory was greatly influenced by these aspects.
This volume brings together various studies that explore the theme of violence and conflict in late antiquity and the Middle Ages, which were presented at the 7th International Seminar on Medieval and Modern Archaeology, held in Roses on 3 October 2024.
