Description

This book presents the history and achievements of the Teaching Innovation Group (GID) in the field of challenge-based learning (CBL) in higher education. It is the result of a collaborative process that began in 2017, involving nearly twenty authors. Its production has been made possible thanks to the support of the ICE Josep Pallach and the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Girona, as well as the commitment, collaboration, rigour and perseverance of everyone involved. The book combines theoretical foundations with practical experiences of CBL in teacher training, social education, the Master’s in Teaching and vocational training, and also incorporates contributions from teachers, students and international experts. It is complemented by resources to explore this methodology in greater depth and highlights its potential to transform teacher training, linking theory and practice to prepare professionals capable of tackling educational challenges with a critical mindset, creativity and the ability to collaborate.
