The GAS-VI Guide allows to assess the support received by people with intellectual disabilities to live independently. The Guide is developed from three research projects on independent living of people with intellectual disabilities (project EDU2014-55460-R, funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and project EDU2017-84989-R, funded by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness and PDC2021-121510-100, funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the European Union). These projects have been developed by the Diversity Research Group of the University of Girona, and coordinated by PhDs Maria Pallisera Díaz and Judit Fullana Noell.
