The excavation of the Roman uilla of Tolegassos, carried out in the early 80’s of last century, was complemented with the rediscovery and excavation of its necropolis. This is an unusual event in this territory. Thus, study of the burial area closed a circle started with the excavation, study and publication of the uilla and ended with the excavation and study of its necropolis, which was the nal destiny for the remains of those who lived and worked in Tolegassos for over three hundred years. The information enables to reconstruct not only funerary habits in the area but also structure, living and working conditions of a wide family group devoted to the care and exploitation of that rural property over time.
