Une étude pluridisciplinaire s’intéressant tant à la uilla proprement dit qu’à son nage a permis de voir qu’au cours des Ve et VIe siècles on assiste à une transformation complète de l’habitat mais à une permanence de la structure domaniale, notamment des productions ou de l’organisation de l’espace. En réalité les mutations s’inscrivent dans un processus engagé dès le IIIe siècle.
